SEAProTI Partners with BOI to Host Special Seminar on “Work Visas and Investment through BOI”
To Enhance Knowledge on Investment and Employment in Thailand
On 25 May 2026 in Bangkok, the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI), in collaboration with Chan Witthayakan and the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), organized a special online seminar entitled “Work Visas and Investment through BOI.” The seminar aimed to provide knowledge and guidance on investment promotion policies, visa and work permit privileges for foreign investors and specialists, as well as business support measures available in Thailand.
The seminar was honored by the participation of Mr. Phimatphon Banjanya, Investment Promotion Officer from the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), who served as the keynote speaker. He shared valuable insights regarding work visa application procedures, investment incentives under BOI promotion schemes, and operational guidelines for organizations and investors seeking to expand their businesses in Thailand. The session also included discussions and Q&A on labor regulations, investment policies, and facilitation measures for foreigners working and investing in the country.
The event attracted strong interest from representatives of various organizations, business sectors, and language professionals, reflecting growing attention toward BOI’s role in supporting investment and developing highly skilled international talent in Thailand.
The seminar was moderated by Mr. Pichayapat Ormangpoonsakul, Honorary Advisor to the Qualification Review Committee of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters, who fostered an engaging and constructive atmosphere for discussion and knowledge exchange among participants.
This event demonstrated the strong collaboration between government agencies and professional organizations in promoting investment, human resource development, and a greater understanding of regulations related to employment and investment in Thailand. SEAProTI จับมือ BOI จัดบรรยายพิเศษ “วีซ่าทำงานและการลงทุนผ่าน BOI” เสริมความรู้ด้านการลงทุนและการทำงานในประเทศไทย
25 พฤษภาคม 2569 ณ กรุงเทพมหานคร สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ร่วมกับ จันทร์วิชาการ และ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) จัดการบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “วีซ่าทำงานและการลงทุนผ่าน BOI” ผ่านระบบออนไลน์ เพื่อเผยแพร่ความรู้เกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมการลงทุน สิทธิประโยชน์ด้านวีซ่าและใบอนุญาตทำงานสำหรับนักลงทุนและผู้เชี่ยวชาญต่างชาติ รวมถึงมาตรการสนับสนุนภาคธุรกิจในประเทศไทย
การบรรยายครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณพิพัฒน์พน พรจรรยา เจ้าหน้าที่ส่งเสริมการลงทุน สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) เป็นวิทยากรหลัก โดยได้ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับขั้นตอนการขอวีซ่าทำงาน การใช้สิทธิประโยชน์ภายใต้การส่งเสริมการลงทุนของ BOI ตลอดจนแนวทางการดำเนินงานสำหรับองค์กรและนักลงทุนที่ต้องการขยายธุรกิจในประเทศไทย พร้อมตอบข้อซักถามเกี่ยวกับกฎหมายแรงงาน การลงทุน และแนวทางอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ชาวต่างชาติที่เข้ามาทำงานและลงทุนในประเทศ
บรรยากาศภายในกิจกรรมเป็นไปอย่างคึกคัก มีผู้แทนจากหน่วยงาน องค์กร ภาคธุรกิจ และผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพด้านภาษาเข้าร่วมรับฟังและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นอย่างกว้างขวาง สะท้อนถึงความสนใจต่อบทบาทของ BOI ในการสนับสนุนการลงทุนและการพัฒนากำลังคนต่างชาติที่มีศักยภาพในประเทศไทย
การดำเนินรายการได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณพิชญาพัทธ์ อรมังพุฒิกุล ที่ปรึกษากิตติมศักดิ์ในคณะกรรมการตรวจสอบคุณสมบัติ ของสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ซึ่งช่วยสร้างบรรยากาศการเสวนาให้เป็นกันเองและเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นอย่างสร้างสรรค์
ทั้งนี้ การจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าวสะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐและองค์กรวิชาชีพในการสนับสนุนการลงทุน การพัฒนาทรัพยากรบุคคล และการเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจด้านกฎระเบียบที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการทำงานและการลงทุนในประเทศไทย อันเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการผลักดันประเทศไทยสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนในภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน
สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ได้ประกาศหลักเกณฑ์และคุณสมบัติของผู้ที่ขึ้นทะเบียนเป็น “นักแปลรับรอง (Certified Translators) และผู้รับรองการแปล (Translation Certification Providers) และล่ามรับรอง (Certified Interpreters)” ของสมาคม หมวดที่ 9 และหมวดที่ 10 ในราชกิจจานุเบกษา ของสำนักเลขาธิการคณะรัฐมนตรี ในสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี แห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย ลงวันที่ 25 ก.ค. 2567 เล่มที่ 141 ตอนที่ 66 ง หน้า 100 อ่านฉบับเต็มได้ที่: นักแปลรับรอง ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามรับรอง
สำนักคณะกรรมการกฤษฎีกาเสนอให้ตราเป็นพระราชกฤษฎีกา โดยกำหนดให้นักแปลที่ขึ้นทะเบียน รวมถึงผู้รับรองการแปลจากสมาคมวิชาชีพหรือสถาบันสอนภาษาที่มีการอบรมและขึ้นทะเบียน สามารถรับรองคำแปลได้ (จดหมายถึงสมาคม SEAProTI ลงวันที่ 28 เม.ย. 2568)
