SEAProTI to Host the 5th International Translators and Interpreters Leaders Meeting with Special Seminar on U.S. Visa Documentation
The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) will host the 5th SEAProTI International Translators and Interpreters Leaders Meeting 2026 on Sunday, 31 May 2026, at The Palazzo Hotel Bangkok, conveniently located near MRT Huai Khwang Station. As part of the event program, a special seminar entitled “U.S. Visa Applications: How to Prepare Documents for a Higher Chance of Approval (A Complete Guide from Start to Finish)” will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The seminar will be presented by Mr. Wittichuwan Pringpuangkaew, Senior U.S. Visa Consultant at Siam Legal International Co., Ltd., who has extensive experience advising and assisting visa applicants for the United States from Thailand and abroad.
The session will focus on practical guidance for preparing documentation required for U.S. visa applications, with particular emphasis on documents that must be translated and certified before submission. Participants will gain valuable insights into how to organize and prepare supporting documents correctly and effectively in accordance with relevant requirements, helping to minimize the risk of requests for additional documentation and unnecessary delays in the application process.
Drawing from real-world experience in the U.S. visa consulting field, the speaker will also discuss common mistakes frequently made by visa applicants, many of which may negatively affect the outcome of an application. In addition, the seminar will explain the important distinction between general translation and certified translation, a matter that is often given significant consideration by embassies and immigration authorities.
The seminar is expected to be particularly beneficial for translators, interpreters, language professionals, students, and members of the public who are planning to travel to the United States for tourism, education, employment, business, or immigration purposes. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced specialist and gain practical knowledge that can be applied to the preparation of visa-related documents.

SEAProTI จัดประชุมผู้นำนักแปลและล่ามนานาชาติ ครั้งที่ 5 พร้อมเปิดเวทีเสวนาเรื่องการเตรียมเอกสารขอวีซ่าสหรัฐอเมริกา
สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) เตรียมจัดการประชุมผู้นำนักแปลและล่ามนานาชาติ SEAProTI ครั้งที่ 5 ประจำปี 2569 ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 31 พฤษภาคม 2569 ณ โรงแรมเดอะ พาลาสโซ กรุงเทพฯ ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ใกล้สถานีรถไฟฟ้า MRT ห้วยขวาง โดยภายในงานจะมีการบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “ขอวีซ่าสหรัฐฯ: เตรียมเอกสารอย่างไรให้สถานทูตอนุมัติง่าย (แชร์เทคนิคตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบ)” ระหว่างเวลา 13.00–14.00 น.
การบรรยายครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณวิทย์ชุวรรณ พริ้งพวงแก้ว Senior US Visa Consultant จากบริษัท สยาม ลีกัล อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล จำกัด ผู้มีประสบการณ์ในการให้คำปรึกษาและดูแลการดำเนินการด้านวีซ่าสหรัฐอเมริกาแก่ผู้สมัครจำนวนมากทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ
เนื้อหาการบรรยายจะมุ่งเน้นการให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการจัดเตรียมเอกสารสำหรับการยื่นขอวีซ่าสหรัฐอเมริกาอย่างถูกต้อง โดยเฉพาะประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเอกสารที่จำเป็นต้องแปลและรับรองคำแปลก่อนนำไปใช้ประกอบการยื่นคำร้อง รวมถึงแนวทางการจัดเตรียมเอกสารให้มีความครบถ้วนและสอดคล้องกับข้อกำหนดของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อลดความเสี่ยงในการถูกเรียกเอกสารเพิ่มเติมหรือเกิดความล่าช้าในกระบวนการพิจารณา
นอกจากนี้ วิทยากรจะถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์จากกรณีศึกษาจริงที่พบในการดำเนินงานด้านวีซ่าสหรัฐอเมริกา พร้อมอธิบายถึงข้อผิดพลาดที่ผู้สมัครมักมองข้ามโดยไม่รู้ตัว ซึ่งอาจส่งผลต่อการพิจารณาคำร้อง ตลอดจนให้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับความแตกต่างระหว่างการแปลเอกสารทั่วไปกับการแปลรับรองคำแปล ซึ่งเป็นประเด็นที่สถานทูตและหน่วยงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองให้ความสำคัญเป็นอย่างมาก
การบรรยายดังกล่าวนับเป็นโอกาสอันดีสำหรับนักแปล ล่าม ผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพด้านภาษา นักศึกษา รวมถึงประชาชนทั่วไปที่มีแผนเดินทางไปยังสหรัฐอเมริกา ไม่ว่าจะเพื่อการท่องเที่ยว การศึกษา การทำงาน หรือการย้ายถิ่นฐาน โดยผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้รับข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญโดยตรง และสามารถนำความรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการเตรียมเอกสารได้อย่างถูกต้องและมีประสิทธิภาพ

สำนักคณะกรรมการกฤษฎีกาเสนอให้ตราเป็นพระราชกฤษฎีกา โดยกำหนดให้นักแปลที่ขึ้นทะเบียน รวมถึงผู้รับรองการแปลจากสมาคมวิชาชีพหรือสถาบันสอนภาษาที่มีการอบรมและขึ้นทะเบียน สามารถรับรองคำแปลได้ (จดหมายถึงสมาคม SEAProTI ลงวันที่ 28 เม.ย. 2568)
