Thailand Ministry of Justice Regulations on Payment
and Expenses for Interpreters Appointed by the Probation Department B.E. 2561 (2018)

Payment and Expense Guidelines
Interpreter Allowance
Paid hourly from start to completion of service.

- If an interpreter arrives as scheduled but is unable to work through no fault of their own, they may receive THB 500.
- The Director may consider language complexity, interpreter qualifications, and other relevant factors.
Travel Expenses
- Government officials follow standard civil service travel expense regulations.
- Non-government interpreters receive equivalent allowances as civil servants at a specialist level or below.
Accommodation Expenses
- Interpreters are entitled to reimbursement for accommodation in line with official government regulations.
Interpreting via Video Conference
Domestic Interpreters
- Allowances and expenses follow the standard rates.
- Interpreters Residing Abroad
- Allowance: Minimum THB 600, maximum THB 2,000 per hour; capped at THB 6,000 per day.
- Travel: Actual expenses reimbursed up to THB 3,000 per instance.
- Accommodation: Reimbursement based on official overseas travel regulations.

ระเบียบกระทรวงยุติธรรม ว่าด้วยการจ่ายค่าตอบแทนและค่าใช้จ่ายสำหรับล่ามกรมคุมประพฤติ พ.ศ. 2561
กระทรวงยุติธรรม ได้ออกประกาศ ระเบียบว่าด้วยการจ่ายค่าป่วยการ ค่าพาหนะเดินทาง และค่าเช่าที่พักแก่ล่ามที่กรมคุมประพฤติจัดหาให้ พ.ศ. 2561 มีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 5 มิถุนายน 2561 เพื่อกำหนดหลักเกณฑ์การเบิกจ่ายค่าตอบแทนและค่าใช้จ่ายสำหรับล่ามอย่างชัดเจนและเป็นธรรม
คำนิยามตามระเบียบ
- ล่าม หมายถึง บุคคลที่กรมคุมประพฤติจัดหาทำหน้าที่แปลภาษาไทย ภาษาถิ่น ภาษาต่างประเทศ หรือภาษามือ ยกเว้นพนักงานคุมประพฤติเจ้าของคดี
- ค่าป่วยการ เงินตอบแทนการทำหน้าที่ของล่าม ไม่ขึ้นอยู่กับจำนวนคดี
หลักเกณฑ์การเบิกจ่าย
ค่าป่วยการ
- คิดเป็นรายชั่วโมง เริ่มตั้งแต่เริ่มปฏิบัติงานจนเสร็จสิ้น
- ขั้นต่ำ 500 บาท สูงสุด 800 บาทต่อชั่วโมง
- สูงสุดไม่เกิน 2,400 บาทต่อวัน
- หากเดินทางมาแล้วไม่ได้ปฏิบัติงานโดยไม่ใช่ความผิดของล่าม ให้ได้รับค่าป่วยการ 500 บาทต่อครั้ง
- พิจารณาความยากง่ายของเนื้อหา คุณวุฒิและความเชี่ยวชาญของล่าม
ค่าพาหนะเดินทาง
- ข้าราชการเบิกตามระเบียบราชการ
- ล่ามทั่วไป เปรียบเทียบสิทธิ์เท่าข้าราชการพลเรือนระดับชำนาญการลงมา
ค่าเช่าที่พัก
- เบิกได้ตามระเบียบค่าใช้จ่ายในการเดินทางไปราชการ
กรณีการประชุมทางจอภาพ (Video Conference)
ล่ามภายในประเทศ
- เบิกค่าตอบแทนและค่าใช้จ่ายตามอัตราปกติ
ล่ามที่มีถิ่นที่อยู่ในต่างประเทศ
- ค่าป่วยการ: 600 – 2,000 บาทต่อชั่วโมง สูงสุดไม่เกิน 6,000 บาทต่อวัน
- ค่าพาหนะเดินทาง: เบิกตามจริงไม่เกิน 3,000 บาทต่อครั้ง
- ค่าเช่าที่พัก: เบิกตามบัญชีค่าเช่าที่พักในระเบียบราชการ
