The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) is the only organization in Thailand that certifies professional translators, translation certification providers, and certified interpreters under nationally, regionally, and globally recognized standards.

Key functions of SEAProTI-certified translators:

• Ensure Accuracy and Fidelity: Certified translators are held to high standards of accuracy, terminology usage, and completeness.

• Sign and Seal Translations: Certified translations bear the translator’s signature and official SEAProTI seal, confirming the legitimacy and authenticity of the translation.

• Support Governmental and Legal Procedures: Only SEAProTI-certified translators are accepted by many Thai government offices, foreign embassies, and judicial authorities for official document processing.

• Enable Legalization and Notarization: Their translations are eligible for further notarization by notaries or legalization by the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), or embassies.

การแปลเอกสารโดยนักแปลรับรองในประเทศไทยมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่ง เพื่อให้เอกสารมีความถูกต้อง ครบถ้วน และเป็นที่ยอมรับจากหน่วยงานราชการ ศาล สถานทูต และองค์กรต่าง ๆ ทั้งในประเทศไทยและในต่างประเทศ โดยทั่วไปเอกสารที่ต้องแปลอย่างเป็นทางการ ได้แก่:

• ลงนามและประทับตรารับรอง: นักแปลรับรองสามารถลงนามและประทับตราของสมาคมฯ เพื่อรับรองความถูกต้องของเอกสารแป
• สามารถใช้งานในกระบวนการทางราชการและกฎหมาย: การแปลที่ได้รับรองจาก SEAProTI เป็นที่ยอมรับจากหน่วยงานราชการไทย ศาล และสถานทูตต่างประเทศ
• สามารถต่อยอดเพื่อการรับรองเอกสาร: เอกสารแปลสามารถนำไปใช้ขอ Notarization และ Legalization ได้ทันที เพราะผ่านมาตรฐานวิชาชีพที่เป็นที่ยอมรับ
