TSS, SEAProTI organize Subtitle Translation Workshop
On February 18, 2024, in Bangkok - a training session titled "Translation Techniques in Series and Film Subtitles on Streaming Platforms" (Batch 2) was conducted by the Thai Subtitlers Society (TSS) under the regulations of the Southeast Asian Association of Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI). The session took place on February 17, 2024. The training was conducted by Khun Ekapop Phawong, the president of the Thai Subtitlers Society (TSS) and proprietor of the "Subjoraka" Facebook fan page, Khun Phutthachart Kuthong, the Thai Subtitlers Society (TSS), and Khun Phutthachart Kuthong.
The training program encompasses seminars and methodologies dedicated to translating subtitles into third languages and subtitles for various genres. In addition, there are commercial opportunities pertaining to professional development, the labor market, and professional ethics and conduct.
