SEAProTI to Host C1 Translator Certification Orientation for 2026, Strengthening Readiness Toward International Professional Standards
Bangkok, 7 February 2026 — The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) is set to organize the Orientation Session for the C1 Translator Certification Examination for the year 2026 (Round 1), with the objective of providing candidates with detailed information, examination guidelines, and preparation strategies prior to the competency assessment process under the Association’s professional standards.
The orientation aims to enhance participants’ understanding of the examination structure, assessment criteria, and the Peer Certification system, which follows internationally recognized practices and professional peer-based evaluation. This approach is designed to elevate the quality and credibility of professional translators across the Southeast Asian region.
The C1 Translator Certification Orientation will take place on Saturday, 7 February 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The session will offer candidates essential insights into assessed competencies, examination formats, professional ethics, and practical recommendations for effective preparation ahead of the official examination.
SEAProTI stated that the orientation forms an integral part of its systematic professional development framework, ensuring that candidates are well prepared in terms of skills, professional roles, and ethical standards. These elements are regarded as fundamental to translation practice, particularly in legal, governmental, and specialized professional contexts.
The Association therefore invites interested individuals and C1 examination candidates to participate in the orientation session as a key step toward achieving certified translator status in line with international professional standards, while contributing to the sustainable advancement of the translation and interpreting profession in the region.
About Certified Translators, Translation Certifiers, and Certified Interpreters of SEAProTI

SEAProTI is the first professional association in Thailand and Southeast Asia to implement a comprehensive certification system for translators, certifiers, and interpreters.

SEAProTI เตรียมจัด Orientation การสอบวัดระดับนักแปล C1 ปี 2569 เสริมความพร้อมสู่มาตรฐานวิชาชีพระดับสากล
7 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569, กรุงเทพฯ — สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) เตรียมจัดกิจกรรม Orientation การสอบวัดระดับนักแปล ระดับ C1 ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2569 (รอบที่ 1 ปี 2569) เพื่อชี้แจงรายละเอียด แนวทางการสอบ และการเตรียมความพร้อมให้แก่ผู้สมัคร ก่อนเข้าสู่กระบวนการประเมินสมรรถนะตามมาตรฐานวิชาชีพของสมาคม
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมุ่งเน้นการสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับโครงสร้างการสอบ เกณฑ์การประเมิน และหลักการรับรองตามระบบ Peer Certification ซึ่งเป็นแนวปฏิบัติที่ยึดตามมาตรฐานสากลและการประเมินโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญในวิชาชีพเดียวกัน เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพและความน่าเชื่อถือของนักแปลในระดับภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
Orientation การสอบวัดระดับนักแปล C1 จะจัดขึ้นในวันเสาร์ที่ 7 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2569 ระหว่างเวลา 09.00 – 09.30 น. โดยเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้สมัครสอบได้รับข้อมูลสำคัญ อาทิ ขอบเขตทักษะที่ใช้ในการประเมิน ลักษณะข้อสอบ แนวคิดด้านจรรยาบรรณวิชาชีพ ตลอดจนข้อแนะนำในการเตรียมตัวก่อนเข้าสอบจริง
SEAProTI ระบุว่า การจัดกิจกรรม Orientation ถือเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกระบวนการพัฒนาวิชาชีพอย่างเป็นระบบ เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าสอบมีความพร้อมทั้งด้านทักษะ ความเข้าใจในบทบาทหน้าที่ และมาตรฐานทางจริยธรรม ซึ่งเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของการทำงานด้านการแปลในบริบททางกฎหมาย ราชการ และวิชาชีพเฉพาะทาง
ทั้งนี้ สมาคมเชิญชวนผู้สนใจและผู้สมัครสอบระดับ C1 เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมดังกล่าว เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่การเป็นนักแปลรับรองตามมาตรฐานวิชาชีพระดับสากล และร่วมยกระดับคุณภาพวงการนักแปลและล่ามของภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน
สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ได้ประกาศหลักเกณฑ์และคุณสมบัติของผู้ที่ขึ้นทะเบียนเป็น “นักแปลรับรอง (Certified Translators) และผู้รับรองการแปล (Translation Certification Providers) และล่ามรับรอง (Certified Interpreters)” ของสมาคม หมวดที่ 9 และหมวดที่ 10 ในราชกิจจานุเบกษา ของสำนักเลขาธิการคณะรัฐมนตรี ในสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี แห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย ลงวันที่ 25 ก.ค. 2567 เล่มที่ 141 ตอนที่ 66 ง หน้า 100 อ่านฉบับเต็มได้ที่: นักแปลรับรอง ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามรับรอง
สำนักคณะกรรมการกฤษฎีกาเสนอให้ตราเป็นพระราชกฤษฎีกา โดยกำหนดให้นักแปลที่ขึ้นทะเบียน รวมถึงผู้รับรองการแปลจากสมาคมวิชาชีพหรือสถาบันสอนภาษาที่มีการอบรมและขึ้นทะเบียน สามารถรับรองคำแปลได้ (จดหมายถึงสมาคม SEAProTI ลงวันที่ 28 เม.ย. 2568)
