Subject: Issuance of the List of Experts for the Evaluation of Scientific Documents on Medical Devices (Edition No. 12)
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Thailand, has issued the 12th edition of the expert roster for the year 2025, appointing additional experts to participate in the evaluation of scientific documentation related to medical devices. This evaluation is a crucial part of the regulatory process to ensure the safety, quality, and efficacy of medical devices prior to market approval in Thailand.
Key Highlights of the Announcement:
Two new experts have been officially appointed:
(a) Associate Professor Dr. Sutthakorn Suparak
(b) Assistant Professor Dr. Samayosanon Natakun
The appointment is made under the authority of the Medical Device Act B.E. 2551 (2008), as amended by Act (No. 6), B.E. 2562 (2019)
The experts are tasked with evaluating scientific documents, which is a core component of the medical device regulatory approval process
The announcement takes effect as of 23 July 2025
SEAProTI’s certified translators, translation certification providers, and certified interpreters:
The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. These guidelines are detailed in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Thai Government Gazette, issued by the Secretariat of the Cabinet under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, dated July 25, 2024, Volume 141, Part 66 Ng, Page 100. เรื่อง การออกบัญชีผู้เชี่ยวชาญเพื่อประเมินเอกสารทางวิชาการด้านเครื่องมือแพทย์ (ฉบับที่ 12)
สำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยา (อย.) ได้ออกประกาศบัญชีผู้เชี่ยวชาญฉบับที่ 12 ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2568 เพื่อแต่งตั้งผู้เชี่ยวชาญเพิ่มเติมในการประเมินเอกสารทางวิชาการเกี่ยวกับเครื่องมือแพทย์ ซึ่งเป็นกระบวนการสำคัญต่อการพิจารณาความปลอดภัย คุณภาพ และประสิทธิภาพของเครื่องมือแพทย์ก่อนการอนุญาตให้จำหน่ายในประเทศ
ประเด็นสำคัญของประกาศนี้
เป็นการแต่งตั้งผู้เชี่ยวชาญใหม่ 2 ราย ได้แก่
(ก) รศ. ดร. สุทธกร ศุภารักษ์
(ข) ผศ. ดร. สมยศานนท์ นาถกุล
ใช้อำนาจตาม พ.ร.บ. เครื่องมือแพทย์ พ.ศ. 2551 แก้ไขเพิ่มเติมโดย (ฉบับที่ 6) พ.ศ. 2562
ผู้เชี่ยวชาญมีหน้าที่ในการประเมินเอกสารทางวิชาการซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกระบวนการอนุญาตเครื่องมือแพทย์ในประเทศไทย
ประกาศมีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 23 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2568 เป็นต้นไป
เกี่ยวกับนักแปลรับรอง ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามรับรองของสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
