Wanitcha Sumanat Serves as Interpreter for the House Committee
on Education During Official Study Visit to Singapore
From June 24 to 25, 2025, Khun Wanitcha Sumanat, President of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI), was honored to serve as the official interpreter for the House Committee on Education of the Thai Parliament during their overseas study visit and education-focused mission in the Republic of Singapore.
The visit aimed to foster international cooperation and exchange educational policy insights at both vocational and higher education levels. On June 24, the delegation visited the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), where they received a comprehensive briefing on the institution’s management model, vocational curriculum development, and strategies to equip students with industry-ready skills aligned with the Industry 4.0 framework.
On June 25, the delegation proceeded to the National University of Singapore (NUS) to gain a deeper understanding of student admission policies, curriculum design, and the university’s approach to lifelong learning and upskilling initiatives.. Wanitcha provided professional interpretation throughout the visit, ensuring smooth and accurate communication during meetings, presentations, and policy discussions between Thai and Singaporean representatives.
Her work not only facilitated mutual understanding between the two countries but also supported the successful exchange of educational strategies and international dialogue at the policy level.

The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. These guidelines are detailed in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Thai Government Gazette, issued by the Secretariat of the Cabinet under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, dated July 25, 2024, Volume 141, Part 66 Ng, Page 100.

ศึกษาดูงานด้านการศึกษาที่สิงคโปร์
ระหว่างวันที่ 24–25 มิถุนายน 2568 คุณวณิชชา สุมานัส นายกสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ได้รับเกียรติให้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ล่ามประจำคณะกรรมาธิการการศึกษา สภาผู้แทนราษฎร ในโอกาสเดินทางไปศึกษาดูงานและเจรจาความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาระหว่างประเทศ ณ สาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์
การศึกษาดูงานครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนแนวคิดด้านนโยบายการศึกษาระดับอาชีวศึกษาและอุดมศึกษา โดยในวันที่ 24 มิถุนายน คณะฯ ได้เดินทางไปยัง Institute of Technical Education (ITE) เพื่อรับฟังการบรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับการจัดการเรียนการสอนด้านสายอาชีพ การบริหารจัดการสถาบัน และการเตรียมความพร้อมนักศึกษาเข้าสู่ภาคอุตสาหกรรมในยุค Industry 4.0
ในวันที่ 25 มิถุนายน คณะฯ ได้เยี่ยมชม มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติสิงคโปร์ (National University of Singapore – NUS) เพื่อศึกษาระบบการคัดเลือกนักศึกษา แนวทางการออกแบบหลักสูตรสำหรับการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต (Lifelong Learning) และการสนับสนุนการยกระดับทักษะ (Upskilling) ของบุคลากรทางการศึกษา โดยคุณวณิชชาได้อำนวยความสะดวกในการสื่อสาร แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล และสรุปสาระสำคัญระหว่างเจ้าหน้าที่ของทั้งสองประเทศอย่างมืออาชีพ
การปฏิบัติหน้าที่ล่ามครั้งนี้นับเป็นบทบาทสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความเข้าใจระหว่างประเทศ และช่วยขับเคลื่อนการเจรจาระดับนโยบายด้านการศึกษาให้เป็นไปอย่างราบรื่น
