Judge Preecha Wipavasut Delivers Opening Remarks
at the 5th Insurance Mediation Training Program Organized by OIC
On 16 June 2025, Judge Preecha Wipavasut, Vice President of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI), lay judge, arbitrator, and mediator, was invited as a guest speaker to deliver the opening remarks at the 5th Insurance Mediation Training Program hosted by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC).
Judge Preecha’s lecture focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of emerging insurance issues, particularly electric vehicle insurance and earthquake risk insurance. These topics are essential for mediators navigating the complexities of modern insurance disputes. His session covered legal frameworks, risk assessment, and the role of mediation in fostering trust and fairness between disputing parties.
This training event marked another important step in advancing the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Thailand’s insurance sector. It also provided a platform for experts from various fields to share insights and contribute to strengthening and modernizing the justice system in alignment with contemporary challenges.

The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. These guidelines are detailed in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Thai Government Gazette, issued by the Secretariat of the Cabinet under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, dated July 25, 2024, Volume 141, Part 66 Ng, Page 100.

ท่านปรีชา วิภวสูทธิ ร่วมปฐมนิเทศโครงการอบรมผู้ไกล่เกลี่ยด้านประกันภัย รุ่นที่ 5 จัดโดย คปภ.
วันที่ 16 มิถุนายน 2568 ท่านปรีชา วิภวสูทธิ อุปนายกสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ผู้พิพากษาสมทบ อนุญาโตตุลาการ และผู้ไกล่เกลี่ยข้อพิพาท ได้รับเกียรติร่วมเป็นวิทยากรปฐมนิเทศในโครงการอบรมผู้ไกล่เกลี่ยด้านประกันภัย รุ่นที่ 5 จัดโดยสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับและส่งเสริมการประกอบธุรกิจประกันภัย (คปภ.)
การบรรยายของท่านปรีชามุ่งเน้นการเสริมสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจในประเด็นสำคัญด้านการประกันภัยสมัยใหม่ โดยเฉพาะการประกันภัยรถไฟฟ้าและการประกันภัยความเสี่ยงจากแผ่นดินไหว ซึ่งเป็นความรู้ที่มีความจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งต่อผู้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ไกล่เกลี่ยในยุคปัจจุบัน ทั้งในแง่ของการประเมินความเสียหาย กรอบกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้อง และการใช้กระบวนการไกล่เกลี่ยเพื่อสร้างความยุติธรรมและความเชื่อมั่นระหว่างคู่พิพาท
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญในการพัฒนาระบบการระงับข้อพิพาททางเลือกในภาคธุรกิจประกันภัยของประเทศไทย โดยเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากหลากหลายสาขาได้แลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์ ตลอดจนร่วมกันผลักดันให้กระบวนการยุติธรรมของไทยมีความเข้มแข็ง ทันสมัย และตอบโจทย์ความเปลี่ยนแปลงในยุคปัจจุบันอย่างแท้จริง
