SEAProTI Strengthens Collaboration in International Arbitration
President Joins Seminar on “Effective Use of HKIAC Arbitration” with Experts from Tilleke & Gibbins and HKIAC
17 October 2025, Bangkok – Khun Wanitcha Sumanat, President of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI),
attended a professional seminar titled “Effective Use of HKIAC Arbitration,” jointly organized by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and Tilleke & Gibbins law firm.
The seminar featured Ms. Noppamas Thamtheeradecho, Head of Arbitration at Tilleke & Gibbins and Honorary Member and Advisor to SEAProTI, who shared her insights on the strategic use of HKIAC arbitration, including effective procedures, interim relief mechanisms, and best practices for managing cross-border disputes.
This participation aligns with SEAProTI’s ongoing mission to enhance international legal and linguistic competence among professional translators and interpreters, ensuring they are well-equipped to operate within the global legal and arbitration landscape.
SEAProTI continues to foster collaboration with legal and arbitration institutions across Asia to advance professional standards and promote excellence in language services for international dispute resolution.
About Certified Translators, Translation Certifiers, and Certified Interpreters of SEAProTI
The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has formally announced the qualifications and requirements for registration of Certified Translators, Translation Certification Providers, and Certified Interpreters in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Gazette, published by the Secretariat of the Cabinet, Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand, on 25 July 2024 (Vol. 141, Part 66 Ng, p. 100). The Council of State has proposed the enactment of a Royal Decree, granting registered translators and recognized translation certifiers from professional associations or accredited language institutions the authority to provide legally valid translation certification (Letter to SEAProTI dated April 28, 2025)
SEAProTI is the first professional association in Thailand and Southeast Asia to implement a comprehensive certification system for translators, certifiers, and interpreters.

17 ตุลาคม 2568, กรุงเทพมหานคร – คุณวณิชชา สุมานัส นายกสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters: SEAProTI) เข้าร่วมการสัมมนาวิชาการหัวข้อ “Effective Use of HKIAC Arbitration” ซึ่งจัดโดย Hong Kong Arbitration Institute (HKIAC) และ สำนักงานกฎหมาย Tilleke & Gibbins
การสัมมนาครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณนพมาศ ธรรมธีรเดโช หัวหน้าฝ่ายอนุญาโตตุลาการของ Tilleke & Gibbins ซึ่งดำรงตำแหน่ง สมาชิกกิตติมศักดิ์และที่ปรึกษาของสมาคม SEAProTI มาร่วมบรรยายและแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้เกี่ยวกับการใช้กระบวนการ อนุญาโตตุลาการของสถาบัน HKIAC อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้งในด้านกลยุทธ์การดำเนินคดี การขอความคุ้มครองชั่วคราว และแนวทางปฏิบัติสำหรับข้อพิพาทระหว่างประเทศ
การเข้าร่วมในครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของพันธกิจของสมาคม SEAProTI ในการส่งเสริมความรู้ด้าน ภาษากฎหมายระหว่างประเทศและกระบวนการระงับข้อพิพาท (International Legal and Arbitration Literacy) เพื่อยกระดับมาตรฐานของนักแปลและล่ามมืออาชีพในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ให้มีความเข้าใจในบริบททางกฎหมายและวัฒนธรรมที่แตกต่างอย่างรอบด้าน
เกี่ยวกับนักแปลรับรอง ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามรับรองของสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ได้ประกาศหลักเกณฑ์และคุณสมบัติผู้ที่ขึ้นทะเบียนเป็น “นักแปลรับรอง (Certified Translators) และผู้รับรองการแปล (Translation Certification Providers) และล่ามรับรอง (Certified Interpreters)” ของสมาคม หมวดที่ 9 และหมวดที่ 10 ในราชกิจจานุเบกษา ของสำนักเลขาธิการคณะรัฐมนตรี ในสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี แห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย ลงวันที่ 25 ก.ค. 2567 เล่มที่ 141 ตอนที่ 66 ง หน้า 100 อ่านฉบับเต็มได้ที่: นักแปลรับรอง ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามรับรอง
สำนักคณะกรรมการกฤษฎีกาเสนอให้ตราเป็นพระราชกฤษฎีกา โดยกำหนดให้นักแปลที่ขึ้นทะเบียน รวมถึงผู้รับรองการแปลจากสมาคมวิชาชีพหรือสถาบันสอนภาษาที่มีการอบรมและขึ้นทะเบียน สามารถรับรองคำแปลได้ (จดหมายถึงสมาคม SEAProTI ลงวันที่ 28 เม.ย. 2568)
