SEAProTI President Joins Arbitral Tribunal Meeting to Set Dispute Resolution Guidelines
On 14 July 2025, Bangkok – Khun Wanitcha Sumanat, President of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) and an arbitrator under the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), Ministry of Justice, participated as a member of the arbitral tribunal in a meeting to determine procedural guidelines for resolving disputes through arbitration. She was accompanied by SEAProTI’s internship students, Cholpaporn Boonmak, Manatchanok Boonpheng, Thammanuwat Jokkaew, and Kanyanat Onsaen, who participated in supporting the work of the arbitral secretariat during this session.
The meeting aimed to discuss and outline the procedural framework for arbitration proceedings, emphasizing fairness, transparency, and efficiency. It also highlighted the critical role of arbitrators as impartial adjudicators in dispute resolution processes.
The participation of SEAProTI’s representatives and interns reflects the association’s commitment to promoting the role of language professionals within the legal and arbitration sectors, as well as providing hands-on learning opportunities for students interested in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
SEAProTI remains dedicated to developing the professional capacity of translators and interpreters and to advancing their role in legal, business, and arbitration settings both nationally and across the Southeast Asian region.

The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. นายกสมาคม SEAProTI เข้าร่วมประชุมกำหนดแนวทางระงับข้อพิพาทในฐานะอนุญาโตตุลาการ
วันที่ 14 กรกฎาคม 2568, กรุงเทพมหานคร – คุณวณิชชา สุมานัส นายกสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) และอนุญาโตตุลาการ สังกัดสถาบันอนุญาโตตุลาการ กระทรวงยุติธรรม (THAC) ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมในฐานะหนึ่งในองค์คณะอนุญาโตตุลาการ เพื่อกำหนดแนวทางในการพิจารณาระงับข้อพิพาทโดยวิธีอนุญาโตตุลาการ พร้อมด้วยนักศึกษาฝึกงานของสมาคมที่เข้าร่วมสนับสนุนงานเลขานุการอนุญาโตตุลาการ ในครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ คุณชลปภร บุญมาก, คุณมนัสชนก บุญเพ็ง, คุณธรรมานุวัติ จอกแก้ว และคุณกัญญณัท อ้นแสน
การประชุมดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหารือและวางกรอบกระบวนการในการระงับข้อพิพาทตามหลักเกณฑ์ของสถาบันอนุญาโตตุลาการ โดยเน้นย้ำถึงหลักความเป็นธรรม ความโปร่งใส และความรวดเร็วในการพิจารณา รวมถึงบทบาทของอนุญาโตตุลาการในฐานะผู้ชี้ขาดข้อพิพาทอย่างเป็นกลาง
การเข้าร่วมของตัวแทนจากสมาคม SEAProTI และนักศึกษาฝึกงานในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการส่งเสริมบทบาทวิชาชีพด้านภาษาในเวทีอนุญาโตตุลาการระดับประเทศ และเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์จริงในกระบวนการยุติธรรมทางเลือก
ทั้งนี้ สมาคม SEAProTI ยังคงมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาศักยภาพนักแปลและล่ามมืออาชีพ พร้อมผลักดันให้มีบทบาทในวงกว้างยิ่งขึ้นในกระบวนการด้านกฎหมาย ธุรกิจ และการระงับข้อพิพาทในระดับภูมิภาคต่อไป
