President of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters Serves as Interpreter in International Medical Device Assembly Training
20 May 2025, Bangkok – Khun Wanitcha Sumanat, President of the Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI), recently served as the lead professional interpreter for a specialized training workshop on medical device component assembly, held for the production line supervisors of Kuroda Techno Tooling Machine (Thailand) Co., Ltd., located in Ayutthaya Industrial Estate.
The training brought together medical device manufacturing experts from the Netherlands and Singapore, who conducted hands-on sessions and knowledge-sharing activities aimed at upgrading Thailand’s manufacturing capabilities to meet global standards in both technology and medical safety compliance.
Khun Wanitcha provided consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between English and Thai throughout the technical sessions, ensuring clear and accurate communication between foreign engineers and local production staff. Her role was vital in bridging linguistic and cultural gaps, supporting precise knowledge transfer, and minimizing the risk of technical misunderstandings in a highly regulated and detail-sensitive field such as medical equipment production.
The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) plays a key role in elevating professional standards across the region, with a strong focus on training and certifying interpreters and translators for specialized fields including legal, academic, healthcare, and industrial sectors.

The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has officially announced the criteria and qualifications for individuals to register as “Certified Translators,” “Translation Certification Providers,” and “Certified Interpreters” under the association’s regulations. These guidelines are detailed in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Thai Government Gazette, issued by the Secretariat of the Cabinet under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, dated July 25, 2024, Volume 141, Part 66 Ng, Page 100.

วันที่ 20 พฤษภาคม 2568 – คุณวณิชชา สุมานัส นายกสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ได้รับเกียรติให้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ล่ามมืออาชีพในโครงการฝึกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการด้านการประกอบชิ้นส่วนอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์ ให้กับหัวหน้าไลน์การผลิตของบริษัท คูโรดา เทคโน ทูลลิ่ง แมชชีน (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา
การฝึกอบรมครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นโดยมีบริษัทผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการผลิตเครื่องมือแพทย์จาก ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ และ ประเทศสิงคโปร์ เข้าร่วมถ่ายทอดความรู้ด้านกระบวนการผลิตอุปกรณ์การแพทย์และมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยระดับสากล เพื่อยกระดับเทคโนโลยีการผลิตในประเทศไทยให้สามารถแข่งขันได้ในตลาดโลก
คุณวณิชชา ได้ทำหน้าที่ล่ามระหว่างภาษาอังกฤษและภาษาไทยตลอดกระบวนการฝึกอบรม ช่วยให้การสื่อสารระหว่างวิศวกรชาวต่างชาติและเจ้าหน้าที่ไทยเป็นไปอย่างราบรื่นและแม่นยำ ซึ่งมีบทบาทสำคัญในการสร้างความเข้าใจทางเทคนิคและลดความคลาดเคลื่อนที่อาจเกิดขึ้นในสายการผลิตอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์ที่มีความซับซ้อนและต้องการความละเอียดสูง
สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) มีบทบาทสำคัญในการส่งเสริมมาตรฐานวิชาชีพการแปลและล่ามในระดับภูมิภาค โดยมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรที่สามารถให้บริการทางภาษาในบริบทวิชาการ กฎหมาย การแพทย์ และอุตสาหกรรมเฉพาะทาง
