Subject: Schedule for Professional Qualification Review for the 2570 License Renewal Cycle
The Southeast Asia Professional Translators and Interpreters Association hereby announces the schedule for the annual review of professional qualifications for the renewal of professional licenses for the 2570 cycle. This process ensures that members continue to receive the full benefits associated with maintaining their status as Certified Translators, Certified Translation Certifiers, and Certified Interpreters.
Annual Qualification Review Date
8 September 2569 (2026)
Members wishing to renew their professional licenses are requested to prepare all required documents and submit the online application form through the Association’s system no later than 30 days prior to the review date.
Required Documents for the Qualification Review

Application form for professional license renewal

Ten (10) translation samples per year, each accompanied by:

The Association’s certification stamp

A copy of the original document that was translated

Proof of engagement (e.g., payment document, proof of fee deduction/withholding tax)

OR
Ten (10) interpreter assignment reports with supporting evidence such as proof of engagement per year -
Proof of participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities:

At least five (5) seminars per year

Members may upload all required documents and submit their application via the Association’s official online system following the procedures outlined on the website.

About Certified Translators, Translation Certifiers, and Certified Interpreters of SEAProTI
The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) has formally announced the qualifications and requirements for registration of Certified Translators, Translation Certification Providers, and Certified Interpreters in Sections 9 and 10 of the Royal Gazette, published by the Secretariat of the Cabinet, Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand, on 25 July 2024 (Vol. 141, Part 66 Ng, p. 100). The Council of State has proposed the enactment of a Royal Decree, granting registered translators and recognized translation certifiers from professional associations or accredited language institutions the authority to provide legally valid translation certification (Letter to SEAProTI dated April 28, 2025)
SEAProTI is the first professional association in Thailand and Southeast Asia to implement a comprehensive certification system for translators, certifiers, and interpreters.

ประกาศสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ เรื่อง กำหนดวันพิจารณาคุณสมบัตินักวิชาชีพ รอบปี 2570
สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ขอประกาศกำหนดวันพิจารณาคุณสมบัตินักวิชาชีพเพื่อการต่ออายุใบอนุญาตประจำรอบปี พ.ศ. 2570 ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้สมาชิกยังคงได้รับสิทธิประโยชน์จากการรักษาสถานะ นักแปลรับรอง ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามรับรอง อย่างต่อเนื่อง
กำหนดวันพิจารณาคุณสมบัติประจำปี วันที่ 8 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2569
สมาชิกที่มีความประสงค์จะต่ออายุใบอนุญาตวิชาชีพ โปรดจัดเตรียมเอกสารให้ครบถ้วนและยื่นแบบฟอร์มผ่านระบบออนไลน์ของสมาคม ภายในระยะเวลา 30 วันก่อนวันพิจารณา

ตัวอย่างผลงานแปล จำนวน 10 ชิ้น (เอกสารแปลมีตราประทับสมาคม+สำเนาจากต้นฉบับเอกสารที่แปล+หลักฐานการจ้างงาน เช่น เอกสารการชำระเงินหรือหักภาษี ณ ที่จ่าย) หรือ รายงาน สำหรับงานล่าม 10 งาน (เช่น หลักฐานการจ้างงาน)

หลักฐานการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมพัฒนาวิชาชีพ (CPD) ไม่น้อยกว่า 5 สัมมนา
สมาชิกสามารถอัปโหลดเอกสารและยื่นแบบฟอร์มได้ผ่านช่องทางออนไลน์ของสมาคมฯ ตามขั้นตอนที่ประกาศไว้บนเว็บไซต์อย่างเป็นทางการ
เพื่อประโยชน์ของสมาชิกทุกท่าน ขอให้จัดเตรียมเอกสารและส่งภายในกำหนดเวลา หากมีข้อสงสัยเกี่ยวกับขั้นตอนหรือเอกสารประกอบการยื่นต่ออายุ สามารถติดต่อทีมฝ่ายทะเบียนวิชาชีพของสมาคมฯ ได้ตามช่องทางที่ระบุไว้

สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ได้ประกาศหลักเกณฑ์และคุณสมบัติผู้ที่ขึ้นทะเบียนเป็น “นักแปลรับรอง (Certified Translators) และผู้รับรองการแปล (Translation Certification Providers) และล่ามรับรอง (Certified Interpreters)” ของสมาคม หมวดที่ 9 และหมวดที่ 10 ในราชกิจจานุเบกษา ของสำนักเลขาธิการคณะรัฐมนตรี ในสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี แห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย ลงวันที่ 25 ก.ค. 2567 เล่มที่ 141 ตอนที่ 66 ง หน้า 100 อ่านฉบับเต็มได้ที่: นักแปลรับรอง ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามรับรอง
สำนักคณะกรรมการกฤษฎีกาเสนอให้ตราเป็นพระราชกฤษฎีกา โดยกำหนดให้นักแปลที่ขึ้นทะเบียน รวมถึงผู้รับรองการแปลจากสมาคมวิชาชีพหรือสถาบันสอนภาษาที่มีการอบรมและขึ้นทะเบียน สามารถรับรองคำแปหฟลได้ (จดหมายถึงสมาคม SEAProTI ลงวันที่ 28 เม.ย. 2568)
