SEAProTI Successfully Concludes Training on “Translation and Certification of Food & Drug Documents: How to Translate to Satisfy the Registrar”
8 December 2025 – The Southeast Asian Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (SEAProTI) successfully conducted an online training session via Zoom on the topic “Translation and Certification of Food and Drug Documents: How to Translate to Satisfy the Registrar.” This end-of-year session aimed to enhance translation standards in the food and drug sector in alignment with regulatory requirements set by government authorities.
The training featured an in-depth lecture by Wiratpeelak Sanehnut, Senior Food and Drug Academic Officer (Acting Head of General Foods Group, Food Division, Thai Food and Drug Administration – FDA). She provided detailed guidance on translating documents submitted to the FDA, including translation standards, essential terminology, common pitfalls, and best practices that comply with registrar requirements.
In addition, Wanitcha Sumanat, President of SEAProTI, delivered a session focusing on translation for drug registration, the Ministerial Regulation B.E. 2540 under the Administrative Procedure Act B.E. 2569, as well as the use of foreign-registered translators who hold authority to certify translations for use in Thailand.
Participants included translators, interpreters, professionals in the food and drug industry, and personnel working on regulatory submission documents. The training attracted significant interest, as it offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen professional competencies and earn CPD credits required for license renewal and certified status under SEAProTI.
Held from 19:00 to 21:00, the session offered rich exchanges of knowledge from both regulatory perspectives and practical field experts. The discussions helped participants gain a clearer understanding of language requirements and translation standards relevant to food and drug product registration.
Today’s training marks another milestone for SEAProTI in advancing the professional standards of translators and interpreters while equipping its members with the knowledge and skills necessary to collaborate effectively with high-level government agencies.

SEAProTI is the first professional association in Thailand and Southeast Asia to implement a comprehensive certification system for translators, certifiers, and interpreters.

SEAProTI จัดอบรมหัวข้อ “การแปลและรับรองคำแปลเอกสารอาหารและยา: แปลอย่างไรให้ถูกใจนายทะเบียน” สำเร็จลุล่วง
วันที่ 8 ธันวาคม 2568 – สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ได้จัดการอบรมออนไลน์ผ่านระบบ Zoom ในหัวข้อ “การแปลและรับรองคำแปลเอกสารอาหารและยา: แปลอย่างไรให้ถูกใจนายทะเบียน” ซึ่งเป็นกิจกรรมส่งท้ายปีที่มุ่งยกระดับมาตรฐานการแปลในสาขาอาหารและยาให้สอดคล้องกับข้อกำหนดของหน่วยงานภาครัฐ
การอบรมครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก นางสาววิรัฐ์พีฬ์ลักษณ์ เสน่ห์นุช นักวิชาการอาหารและยาชำนาญการ (รักษาการหัวหน้ากลุ่มอาหารทั่วไป กองอาหาร สำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยา) บรรยายเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับการแปลเอกสารที่ต้องยื่นต่อสำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยา (อย.) ครอบคลุมมาตรฐานคำแปล คำศัพท์เฉพาะทาง ข้อผิดพลาดที่พบบ่อย ตลอดจนแนวปฏิบัติที่เป็นไปตามหลักเกณฑ์ของนายทะเบียน
นอกจากนี้ คุณวณิชชา สุมานัส นายกสมาคม SEAProTI ร่วมบรรยายเกี่ยวกับการแปลเอกสารเพื่อขึ้นทะเบียนยา กฎกระทรวง พ.ศ. 2540 ภายใต้พระราชบัญญัติวิธีปฏิบัติราชการทางปกครอง พ.ศ. 2569 รวมถึงการใช้นักแปลที่ขึ้นทะเบียนในต่างประเทศซึ่งมีอำนาจรับรองคำแปลสำหรับใช้ในประเทศไทย
ผู้เข้าร่วมอบรมประกอบด้วยนักแปล นักล่าม ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านอาหารและยา ตลอดจนผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านเอกสารยื่นขึ้นทะเบียนผลิตภัณฑ์ โดยให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมเป็นจำนวนมาก เนื่องจากการอบรมครั้งนี้เป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการพัฒนาทักษะวิชาชีพ และยังสามารถเก็บคะแนน CPD สำหรับการต่ออายุใบอนุญาตและสถานะรับรองของสมาชิก SEAProTI ได้อีกด้วย
การอบรมจัดขึ้นระหว่างเวลา 19.00–21.00 น. พร้อมการแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองจากทั้งภาครัฐและผู้เชี่ยวชาญภาคปฏิบัติ ช่วยให้ผู้เข้าร่วมมีความเข้าใจชัดเจนยิ่งขึ้นเกี่ยวกับข้อกำหนดด้านภาษาและมาตรฐานการแปลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการยื่นขอขึ้นทะเบียนผลิตภัณฑ์อาหารและยา
กิจกรรมในวันนี้ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของ SEAProTI ในการยกระดับมาตรฐานวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่าม พร้อมเสริมศักยภาพให้สมาชิกสามารถทำงานร่วมกับหน่วยงานรัฐระดับสูงได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป

สมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAProTI) ได้ประกาศหลักเกณฑ์และคุณสมบัติผู้ที่ขึ้นทะเบียนเป็น “นักแปลรับรอง (Certified Translators) และผู้รับรองการแปล (Translation Certification Providers) และล่ามรับรอง (Certified Interpreters)” ของสมาคม หมวดที่ 9 และหมวดที่ 10 ในราชกิจจานุเบกษา ของสำนักเลขาธิการคณะรัฐมนตรี ในสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี แห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย ลงวันที่ 25 ก.ค. 2567 เล่มที่ 141 ตอนที่ 66 ง หน้า 100 อ่านฉบับเต็มได้ที่: นักแปลรับรอง ผู้รับรองการแปล และล่ามรับรอง
สำนักคณะกรรมการกฤษฎีกาเสนอให้ตราเป็นพระราชกฤษฎีกา โดยกำหนดให้นักแปลที่ขึ้นทะเบียน รวมถึงผู้รับรองการแปลจากสมาคมวิชาชีพหรือสถาบันสอนภาษาที่มีการอบรมและขึ้นทะเบียน สามารถรับรองคำแปหฟลได้ (จดหมายถึงสมาคม SEAProTI ลงวันที่ 28 เม.ย. 2568)
